For those of you who have BCC during early stages please help me identify whether or not I have one. I have a very small red pin-sized spot (very small pimple like) and will not go away after 4 weeks now. It has looked better/smaller after 4 weeks, but will not go away completely. It is not raised (ok, maybe very slightly), do not itch, do not hurt, etc. I went to a dermatologist and she said that it doesn't look like cancer, but something inflamed (irritated underneath skin). I'm supposed to go back and get it checked w/ my dermatologist again in a month if it doesn't clear up. She advised not to do anything to it ... basically just to leave it alone. Is there something that I can do in the meantime, like apply certain cream, etc, etc.???? Also, I don't know if this is significant or not, but the spot appeared 2 days after I got a fotofacial treatment (IPL). Fotofacial treatment is supposed to bring bad stuff to the surface (from what my aesthetician said). It could be a burn (but unlikely) stubborn acne???? Please help me! Any input, advice, and opinion is greatly appreciated!!!! THANK YOU!

You can try puting some sunspot ES on the problem..If it burns and stings the odds are you have a problem..If the sunstot does nothing the odds are its nothing...Just a idea...

Anything I put on (ex.pimple cream) is going to make the spot sting. I guess I can try Sunspot if it stops improving. But my question is if it's cancerous, it shouldn't get better right???

There is really no way for some one on the internet to know what you have...Look at pictures of skin cancers and see if what you have looks like that..If your skin condition does not heal it could very well be some kind of skin cancer, but then again maybe its not..Try a few different treatments and see if you get some kind of reaction if you want its up to you...
