Hello all,

Last summer I had a rather nasty BCC removed through MOHS surgery. While the surgery was not as bad as I feared, it's not something I want to make habit of. So while searching for alternative cures for skin cancer, I came upon this helpful website and forum.

Recently, I've been treating some suspicious spots close to my MOHS scar with a botanical/pepper ointment that quickly cleared up these small lesions. Happy with the results, I googled "capsaicin" and "skin cancer" out of curiosity. You can imagine my shock when I came across this article...

...and several more like it. However upon continued reading, I noticed some articles (such as this one) that claimed the opposite.

And then there are these articles that remain skeptical about the Hormel findings:

So, any thoughts on the matter? I know some other forum posters on this board have reported success using capsaicin cream on their cancers, and it helped me with my own lesions. It certainly makes me wonder...
