I have a basal cell on my forehead.  I used some Edudex that I had left from a previous basal cell but ran out of it. I then bought Sunspot and within two days it started to work. I have been applying Sunspot at least 2-3 times a day.  The area started to ooze and bleed. Now after 5 days it looks like I have a spot of dead skin.  The area is white and the skin is loose, looks as if a blister was broken.  Now I don't know what to do.  Do I keep applying Sunspot?  Do I try peeling off the dead blister like skin.  Any help would really be appreciated.  Thanks.

Hi Lolab428, I think you are probably in uncharted waters unless someone else has ideas or has been there. It sounds like you potentially have had good progress so far. If it were me, I would keep applying Sunspot for another week and see what happens. I would probably not go for the peeling and just let it come off on its own. I have not used either Sunspot or Efudex so my advice may not be worth much. Keep us posted if you can.

Hi Dan...Thanks so much for your input. Well last night I was washing my forehead gently with warm water and sure enough the dead skin came right off. It is now red but blister free. I will continue to use Sunspot and see what happens. I'm just uncertain at this point if I should let it dry out or keep it moist. Hopefully someone who has used Sunspot will offer some advice. Thanks again for taking the time in acknowledging my post.
