On Internet Explorer, you can enable cookies by selecting tools, internet options, and setting privacy to medium. On Firefox, you can enable cookies by selecting tools, options, privacy, and enabling cookies. The login to the forum uses cookies to remember users. No private info is collected through the cookies. Your browser must support javascript to interact with the forum. In Internet Explorer, Tools-->Internet Options-->Security tab-->Internet-->Custom Level-->Active scripting-->Enable-->OK-->Yes-->OK. In firefox, go to Tools-->Options-->Content and check the javascript box. I also think it is very understandable that many people choose to use temporary or invalid email addresses when registering to protect their privacy when discussing their medical issues in a public forum. With an anonymous e-mail you cannot hide your computer IP. Using Tor can make harder for identifying your IP, but if some guys go hard after you then they can be one step ahead of you.
