Author  Topic    Ric 6 Posts Posted - 10/20/2017 :  10:27:19     Many years back there was a topic line about Ipsab as a cure for BCC but it seems the archives only go back to 2007. Anyways,Ipsab is a mouth wash used for gum infections but someone mentioned it works on BCC's. Had a BCC on my lip so I just happened to have some Ipsab on hand and well for me it worked beyond hope. Now,the BCC I had was large and had very irregular raised edge and bled easily which it turned out was just what was needed to get inside the BCC.Applied the Ipsab a few times and got scared because the BCC got worse - bigger,ugly bleeding black areas and more raised. But I continued applying the lotion as well, why not as surgery was called for in the coming month anyways.BCC got redder and more ugly.Then one morning looked in the mirror and the whole thing had fallen off!What was left behind was a pit that looked as if someone had used an etching acid and burned out areas of the lip and skin.But the BCC was gone. Another BCC started almost next to the previous one but it was a smooth dome and the Ipsab couldn't penetrate into the under body which seems to be the key. There is an Italian Doctor that uses baking soda for some cancers and he too stresses the need to get into -under the BCC. This was many years ago so I don't have pic's- sorry. The concept has some merit... When Mohs was using Zinc Chloride paste it in of itself could not penetrate the skin unless the keratin was removed..well what is Keratin and how deep does it go...NOt a doctor but from what I read keratin / Keratinocytes are the building blocks of the skin and go at least 6 layers deep in different shapes and forms...so Mohs wanted to get past them so that the Zinc Chloride paste could kill thelesion...He used dichloracetic acid to burn through the keratin then he'd apply the past with gauze in 1 mm squares...In the section I read of a book on Google "Atlas of Mohs and Frozen Section Pathology" (Page xi link is goo.gl/EXvvTT ...Bloodroot was only used to to help suspend the Zinc Chloride in the solution... weird Bottom line whatever we use we have to get through the skin to get to the diseased tumor to kill it...Sometimes these tumors are open sores so we can get to them just by applying...I havealso heard people say you need to poke holes in the tumor with a needle before applying... Ipsab has several things we think help kill skin cancers including peppermint oil, Calcium Chloride which I believe is what they make MMS with.. Iodine and Prickly ash bark ( have no idea what that is) ...Oh well whatever it was it killed your first lesion and couldn't get to your second...My guess would be injecting a small dose of it directly into the tumor would get results..
