I've a spot on my arm that was frozen years ago and has turned pinkish in recent time. I was instructed to treat it with Aldara to see what else may be remaining. Has anyone done this kind of treatment on frozen spots?
My experience with Aldara to date is extensive treatment my arm for pre-cancers and bccs. I treated five areas and two of them acted up significantly (one with distracting pain and swelling), so that I was told to stop treatment on those spots and continue on the others. Well, I got tired of mid-summer yucky arms, and decided to wait a month or so to start up again.
My question is about the one spot in particular. This was a spot that appeared 'pre-cancerous' years ago, so it was agressively frozen. Well now, 12 or so years later, the edges of my 'flat and white area', are showing signs of pink activity. This is one I am to treat with Aldara.
Does anyone have any comments on what may or may not have happened with that frozen area, and if the Aldara suggestion would be better replaced with Sunspot or something else?
THanks for the feedback and help! Corihere
