I really commend all the people in this forum for sharing their knowledge and personal experiences about skin cancer. I plea to anyone who knows or has a direct personal experience or an idea on how to tackle topically a “nasal mucosal melanoma” inside the nasal cavity attached to the mucosal walls. What alternative remedy would you suggest given the fact that obviously Zinc Chloride "bloodroot paste" or Lugol Iodine would burn the entire area and it would be unbearably painful to deal with? I will be immensely grateful for any feasible suggestions. Tom

Hi Tom,
I am sorry but I have no knowledge of anyone having this disease. A quick google certainly does not provide easy solutions. As you already know Melanoma is substantially more serious that non-melanoma skin cancers.
From what little I've read, the prognosis for people with “nasal mucosal melanoma” is not especially wonderful. Because Melanoma can be deadly it has to be taken very seriously.
It is not going to be a pleasant journey no matter what route you take but if you can overcome and survive with a decent quality of life I am going to assume you will go through whatever you have to to get beyond this stage in your situation.
It's is just my thoughts and opinion based on what I have learned to date. Though it is not the be all end all, properly formulated and applied Zinc Chloride paste is VERY effective as a tool in identifying diseased cancerous tissue and improves the surgeons chances of "getting it all"
There are also many people who have used some form of Bloodroot internally and claim success. I don't know and other than on myself would not recommend trying it internally to someone else..but it is a purported option.
I copied and pasted from the "The truth about Bloodroot paste" thread below..
I am very sorry that you are facing this situation and send prayers of hope and healing your way. All the best to you in your journey..
Tom
Below is a link to Dr.Norman Brooks a dermatoligist in Encino, California who published a study in 2010 that concluded that "Zinc Chloride fixative paste" (Mohs version of Bloodroot paste as per the patent link above) is still the best tool in excising MELANOMA tumors.....HERE is the link.
Maybe you could get your doctor to communicate with him as you proceed.

Stanford University is doing clinical trials on the below..
A Phase II Trial of Dasatinib in Patients with Unresectable Locally Advanced or Stage IV Mucosal, Acral and Solar Melanomas (ECOG2607)
[Purpose: To estimate the objective tumor response rate in patients with unresectable locally advanced or metastatic acral, mucosal, or solar melanoma treated with dasatinib monotherapy. Metastatic tumor blocks are required for the evaluation of KIT mutations or amplifications, which are necessary for study eligibility Brain metastasis patients with stable disease are eligible. Ocular melanoma is excluded.] |

Tom, honestly, I don't know about doing it topically.
I googled "DMSO Melanoma" and came up with this: https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=dmso%20melanoma
Stacey Jett (info about her included in the google search) claims to have cured her melanoma using both topical and oral DMSO and Vitamin C. There is further info about how to do this at the cancertutor site. Further, there appears to be a thread on this forum from someone who claims to have cured melanoma: http://www.topicalinfo.org/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=852 This person used topicals as well as oral mega doses of vit C and "many" other supplements which he does not specify.
I am very sorry you are facing this. I am not a doctor but I can tell you what I have heard and read about melanoma. Unlike people with most solid cancers, who tend to be too acidic and need to be on vegetarian diets, people who get melanoma tend to be too alkaline. Do not shy away from red meat and butter but it needs to be organic.
This is the blog of a woman who is under treatment with Dr. Gonzalez for multiple myeloma: http://curingmyeloma.blogspot.com/ She is on a moderate meat diet with lots of supplements, including enzymes, juicing, and detox. Oh yeah, I forgot: Google how to do a coffee enema and do several a day. Dr. Kelley in "One Answer to Cancer" (available free on the web) may explain how to do this.
If you can afford it (or you can beg, borrow, steal or mortgage the house or your mother's house or your SO's house) go for treatment by Dr. Gonzalez in NYC. Google his name, you will see. It is very expensive at the beginning and not covered by insurance for the most part. If you are closer to the West Coast, there is a poster here who goes to a Naturopath in Oregon who he says cured his skin cancer (though it was not melanoma). This is Mark's story on this thread (look for the posts by Mark): http://www.topicalinfo.org/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=146&SearchTerms=rocco Mark mentions his doctor on this thread: "If you're in Oregon, look up Dr Arlan Cage." http://www.topicalinfo.org/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1666 I also recommend Dr. Robert Milne in Las Vegas NV, but I don't know if he will deal with melanoma. He is an M.D./H.M.D. (homeopath) and also does acupuncture (the best thing ever invented). You could call these doctors to ask if they can help you. My personal experience with Dr. Milne is that he is very ethical and will not take on a patient if he feels he cannot help. He will not just take your money. I was a patient of his many years ago for a non-cancer problem, and when I was found (by biopsy) to have very bad cervical dysplasia (it was something like stage 4, almost cervical cancer!) he cured me with various topical treatments. (It was lovely. :-) ) My GYN insisted I have a hysterectomy and did not believe in the "topical cure" but it was true: He took many biopsies (like about a dozen) after Dr. M's treatment and they showed NO MORE DYSPLASIA.
Another thing to consider is to take B17. You can find lots of info about how to use it on the internet and you can buy this through amazon. Here is some info here: http://www.anticancerinfo.co.uk/index.html Here is the blog of someone who used B17: http://beatcancerwithb17.blogspot.com/p/my-win-against-cancer.html People generally say that with the B17 you need pancreatic enzymes (those on an empty stomach); B15, and Zinc Citrate. Others recommend also vitamin E and vitamin A. Google "World Without Cancer" for more info. The Cancertutor site also discusses this.
I really wish you the best. I would read, read, and read, and find something that appeals to you. But I cannot urge strongly enough that you get some professional help from an "alternative" doctor if you want to go that route, because there are so many things you need to consider. Just read Mark's post about how many supplements his doctor gave him (plus body and colon detox). Mark discusses the need for iodine and how his body temperature was too low. Look at Dr. G's web site and Teresa's blog for an idea of how much people are told to do to take care of these problems.
Keep us informed about how you are doing. |
