My (well respected) Integrative physician had recommended a product called IMN-R for my BCC. I have nothing to do with this product and just looking at alternatives to MOH's which I have scheduled for May 7th. Has anyone ever heard of it? It is recommended that it should be used internally and topically with a specific protocol. I googled it but thought I would post it to see if anyone has heard of it.

I also have been trying many different alternative treatments over the years (many from this site)for AK and now a recent biopsy showed Nodular BCC. Very small on my ALA. Could barely see it..my derm has good eyes. I am using SunSpot ES (aka BEC?) on some AK's and it did a good job. I will test it shortly on the BCC. One thing at a time. I am also testing Oxygenated Olive Oil and it shows real promise so far on my AK's. It's only been two weeks and will post results.

Stay healthy folks,
Bob

Hi Bob,

Can not find anything on IMN-R can you share a link or the doctors name that is suggesting this...an internal / topical approach from the traditional medicine community is a new one for me...

thanks,

Tom

It's from Beyond balance and can only be purchased from a health care practitioner. It comes in a small bottle with an eye dropper. Recommended dosage is 20 drops per day for 1 month. Its an immune system enhancer and I will be adding this to my existing program of supplements and strict diet.I have also started applying oxygenated olive oil to the area as well as to AK's. I have to tell you guys, the AK's have dissolved and I am treating sun damaged areas and noticed some great results with overall health of the skin. I apply DMSO and then the oil. At first the DMSA stung a bit for a few minutes and after a week there is no burning at all and the skin around the BCC is looking much better. A bit too early to tell but will post again soon.

Bob

Hi Bob,

I found it online here http://www.forresthealth.com/IMN-R.html

but at $80 for a 2 ounce bottle I am SKEPTICAL especially after I read the ingredients..

I would not try using this without a whole lot more evidence of documented effectiveness.

Oygenated Olive oil? Did you mean ozonated olive oil...not finding oxygenated olive oil but olive oil is awesome for our skin. I use it in my healing salve melted into beeswax..2 parts olive oil.. 1 part beeswax

Just wanted to post an update...I elected to have mohs last May on my ALA and I have to tell you, it was a not as bad as I anticipated. Luckliy, it was more in the corner of my nose and cheek and no one can tell anything was even there.

I also had a biopsied SCC on the top of my head since 2007 and we threw everything but the kitchen sink at it. PDT, freezing, Picato gel, petty spurge - you name it. The derm wanted me to get mohs but this time I elected to try something else. I told her to freeze it again (she did't want to because she said it would be a waste of time) but she obliged. I wanted to try Oxygenated Olive Oil (its oxygenated and ozonated) after the scab fell off. That was last May after my mohs and today there is nothing except the scar from the biopsy in 2007.

I am not sure if it was the last freezing or the oil or a combination of the two. I have a pretty strict diet and exercise regularly. So far, I consider myself lucky and vigilant about sunscreen, diet and rub the oil into my scalp an sun damaged areas regularly
