People seem to confuse Oleocanthal with Oleuropein, also found in olive oil and listed as an ingredient in olive leaf extracts. There are a couple chemicals I'd like to get a hold of. All are non-toxic (and non-psychoactive!) they're just not commercially available. waverider Posted - 04/22/2016 : 12:28:00 Very interesting. I wonder if the concentration of Oleocanthal in regular extra-virgin olive oil is too low to be of any help if directly applied to BCC? I don't recall anyone around here posting about trying extra-v olive oil in the past. I'm guessing these researchers must have managed to extract Oleocanthal in higher potency to use for the tests. Wish someone would come out with a capsule supplement we could try.
