Author  Topic    Allen 5 Posts Posted - 04/21/2016 :  09:14:12     I don't have any info on Oleocanthal, in addition to recent articles. I'd like to find a source for Oleocanthal. Don't say 'Olive Leaf.' People seem to confuse Oleocanthal with Oleuropein, also found in olive oil and listed as an ingredient in olive leaf extracts. It may be that Oleocanthal is in olive leaf extracts but that's a guess and the concentration is unknown, even if true. It may be that Oleuropein works like Oleocanthal but that's not in the study. I wonder if the concentration of Oleocanthal in regular extra-virgin olive oil is too low to be of any help if directly applied to BCC? I don't recall anyone around here posting about trying extra-v olive oil in the past. I'm guessing these researchers must have managed to extract Oleocanthal in higher potency to use for the tests.
