Tumor Necrosis Factor (TNF) blockers are used to treat inflammatory diseases such as Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) and Crohn’s disease. More than 2 million Americans struggle with the effects of RA. TNF blockers target and neutralize tumor necrosis factor-alpha, a protein that, when overproduced in the body due to chronic inflammatory diseases, can cause inflammation and damage to bones, cartilage and tissue. The downside to blocking TNF is that it also has a positive function in the body: fighting cancer. New studies link TNF blocker drugs to skin cancer in particular.

The TNF blocking drugs in this class include Remicade (infliximab), Enbrel (etancercept), Humira (adalimumab), Cimzia (certolizumab pegol) and Simponi (golimumab).

If you have arthritis, you may want to look at http://www.lef.org/magazine/mag2010/mar2010_Optimal-Arthritis-Control_01.htm for natural treatment ideas. I have found vitamins D and K2 seemed to be a cure for the small amount of arthritis I was developing.

Not suprising. I try to ignore the ads for them-the v skip to forward past them. I have RA and hear it for not using the med system to get early treatment. No thanx. That stuff is sheer poison. 1st mentally to deal w/ the practitioners and physically the pharmacuiticals-those companies only sell it if it's harmful. I will bk mark your link thanx.

Wow! Just went there. There is a new horrible drug treatment out for skin cancer [7K a mo. and worse than chemo]. 1st I read the info as to what it does, how it works etc. and them googled for natural things the ingredients were derived from. One main ingredient was derived from corn lilly [a very poisonous plant]. Imagine making a synthetic of that! Another item that does the same thing that they tested and is about = is curcumin. Tumerec is 95% curcumin. The same mentioned again in your link. Cancer and RA a duel use. I will see if I can get root to cut and boil into tea when I feel better by next week. If not I will get supplements or powder.
