Author  Topic    DottieV USA 6 Posts Posted - 01/17/2010 :  00:49:12     In July I went to Dr to see about a small mole on face - it was not a mole - over 15 years ago I was bit by a tick at work - and have had Doctors - and beauticians look at it - as it was dry. I mentioned the spot on my head - she did a biopsy and within four days I was having MOH surgery, the total size about a quarter including stitches. I went back about a month later as I wanted something removed on my arm and the PA took a look at my head - she said hmm - looks suspicious and did a biopsy right next to where the previous one was. I asked why do they look at myu whole body for moles - yet go ahead and do surgery on a small area such as my scalp without checking the whole scalp out. This happened to two friends by the same PA and they went elsewhere as they got sick and tired of OH WE MISSED IT - I am a brunette - do not go out in sun - not a sun worshipper - I could not go back and have surgery as I had a bout with pneumonia (never even had a cold before) Not sure which wa to turn - - -    Topic
