In April 2009 I noticed a sore on my nose that was not healing. I looked up the images of skin cancer and knew it was BCC. I went to a website I use often and found info telling me to crush Vitamin C and apply directly to the sore. I did this for about a month and it seemed to be getting better. Some shrinking and a scab over the area.(the actual open sore area was about 2mm). I visited my daughter for a long weekend and heavily indulged in eating every sugar filled food I could find and drinking several glasses of tap beer. The day after I returned home my BCC literally exploded. It began seeping again,it seemed to grow larger in size, and bled some. I went to the web for help and found some interesting info. Sugar feeds cancer. Sugar causes cell growth, good and bad. This is what I did. I searched skin cancer home remedies and found the Topicalinfo website. I made the home remedy based on Cymilium's ingredients. I used a glob about the size of a penny of clear, not green,100%aloe vera,a smaller glob of a moisturizer with a high concentrate of coconut oil, about 30 drops of household ammonia, and 6 drops of the enzyme cleaner containing the pancreatin. I rubbed it on my sore and the surrounding area of my nose last thursday night. I put a bandage on it and went to bed. On Friday morning the area was a little swollen and red around the sore. About three times a day I rubbed the solution in until the following Tuesday. After the first couple of days the swelling went away and the redness. On Sunday I didn't feel well. On Monday I felt worse. The lymph nodes under my left arm ached as I knew my body was fighting something. Tuesday morning I woke up felling much better with little sensation under my arm. The BCC was shrinking rapidly in size and by Thursday(one week since I started treatment)it had a flaky scab on it and I was feeling totally back to normal. Today is Saturday and the BCC is barely visible. I will continue treatment for up to 2 weeks and hopefully have a full recovery.

Awesome, Jane Doe! Thanks for the post, you really made my day! Your experience is similar to mine so far. I swear by topical pancreatin enzymes for skin cancer and it looks like you made a great batch. Could you please fill in the exact brand names of aloe vera and the moisturizer? I assume you used Alcon SupraClens contact lens enzyme cleaner. |

I used the Alcon SupraClens enzyme cleaner,Fruit of the Earth Aloe Vera(no alcohol),Malibu Hemp Moisturizer in a brown pump dispenser bottle, and generic household ammonia. Am applying morning and evening now. Glad I could help! |

I've been using a very similar Supraclens/AloeVera home mixture on a BCC site on my nose on and off for about 3 months. I don't have a dark crater, but I have about 4 1-2mm red lesions around my nose, and I suspect these are surface lesions, "breakthroughs" around the parameter of an eliptical 2cm BCC area on my left nostil.
My doctor recommends I get Mohs on my nose (of course, that's what he gets paid to do), but I'm scared that once he's in there, the site will actually be 2 or more cms, and I'll be left with a large open "hole" on my nose. Then I'm facing a "flap" reconstruction surgery and a year of healing and a Frankenstein face. !!!!
I'm scheduled to meet my dermatologist this Friday, July 10th. We agreed to do 2nd biopsy slice from the area on my nose area previously biopsied and identified as BCC. ...Basically to confirm that BCC is still present. I suspect it is (frankly, I'm not sure why I'm even going to see him at this point).
When I apply the home mixture, it "attacks" the area and I "think" it makes the lesions smaller, but it also makes the area very red. Its hard to know if its really working.
I apply 4 times a day, for about 5 days straight. Then I take 2 days off.
What are the skin reactions that other ppl are getting with the application? |

Hi Jane, Tried "googling" Malibu Hemp Moisturizer but didn't come up with anything. Where did you buy it? |

I found Malibu Tan: Golden Glow Skin Firming Bronzing Moisturizer Hemp Body Lotion, 18 fl oz at http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10322236# I'm not sure if it is the same one JD used. They also have the aloe vera http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10314799 and the SupraClens http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10317048
Just for fun, here are the Malibu Moisturizer ingredients: Water, Propylene Glycol, Coconut (Cocos Nucifera) Oil, Cetearyl Alcohol, Polysorbate 60, Isopropyl Myristate, Cetyl Alcohol, Sorbitan Stearate, Dihydroxyacetone, Glycerin, Stearic Acid, Hempseed (Cannabis Sativa) Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Erthyrulose, Hydrolyzed Citris Aurantium Ducis Fruit Extract, Alcohol, Lecithin, Ubiquinone, Butylene Glycol, Peg-8, Bupleurum Falcatum Extract, Caffeine, Coenzyme A, Sesame (Sesamum Indicum) Oil, Jojoba (Buxus Chinensis) Oil, Tea Tree (Melaleuca Alternifolia) Oil, Green Tea (Camellia Oleifera) Extract, Calendula Officinalis Extract, Cyclomethicone, Dimethicone, Sodium Gluconate, Potassium Sorbate, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Proplyparaben, Fragrance, Bht, Citric Acid.
For reference, the ingredients disclosed on the Cymilium box are the active ingredient ammonium hydroxide 3% in a base containing aloe vera, cetyl alcohol, diazolidinyl urea, emulsifying wax, methylparaben, mineral oil, pancreatin, petrolatum, polyethylene glycol distearate, propylene glycol, propylparaben, sodium laurel ether sulfate, stearic acid, urea, and water.
So one could get everything in a trip to Walmart (also need household ammonia). |
