I went through an entire tube of sunspot and at first thought it was working, then back to the way it was. It is not huge and has not grown in 5 years but I would like it gone without going to a doctor I was thinking maybe I applied it incorrectly?? I did not keep it moist or use any micropore tape. Could this be why it did not heal my lesion? I also am looking at Curaderm but that is more costly than sunspot. Should I give that a try? Or should I try sunspot again and faithfully cover it with tape? tia for any info dan 611 Posts Posted - 04/24/2008 :  23:26:54     Thanks for the feedback about SunSpot, Barbara. It seems to me that you have given SunSpot a good trial and perhaps the lesion has now developed a some type of tolerance for it. I think SunSpot, Curaderm, and eggplant/ vinegar have similar active ingredients and your lesion may not be responsive to those approaches. If it were me, I would switch tactics and try a pancreatin enzyme/ aloe vera treatment (Cymilium or home made) and see if that worked any better. Also consider trying orange oil extract (Orange TKO) or black walnut hull extract topically. I have not used SunSpot so I am not going to be much help regarding your application questions. I went to ebay and found the black walnut hull for 9.00 ordered that and will try that after reading here that worked for someone else. I guess anything I try should always be kept moist but I hate the thought of walking around day and night with a bandage on my face : Months ago I also tried raspberry cream, did nothing. I will keep you posted on what happens with the black walnut extract.    Topic
