Is there anyone who has had successful home treatments, and who have NOT had the BBC come back a year after they are done with their treatments? To me, this would indicate a more successful rate. Many treatments may make BBC go away for awhile.

I am trying a variety of things to try on my BCC. I am a big beleiver of throwing the kitchen sink in the cancer to throw it off track, but I have chosen the milder of the ingredients I have read about. Right now, I am starting with this 21 day roundabout (I am on day 2):
1.Orange oil for 3 days
2.3 varieties of Eggplant with vinegar for 3 days
3.Coconut oil/reem oil for the next 3 days
4.Brocolli/garlic with hydrogen peroxide for 3 days
4.Heat applied twice a day, as hot as possible for 5 minutes, 3 days
5.Iodine and Aloe Vera for 3 days
6.Castor oil/Baking soda for 3 days

Then repeat...
Meanwhile, I am am eating 1/8 cup flax seed, finely ground, with 1/4 cup cottage cheese daily, and 1 tsp of virgin coconut oil on bread, daily.

One comment about the orange oil: I do not feel any stinging at all when I apply it. Every read says the spot stings like hell when the orange oil is applied. This spot HAS been diagnosed as BBC and they say I need a 6k Moe. They cut out the bulk of it in a biopsy, but I'm going to treat the area myself and see how it goes. Worst case scenery, it comes back. And if it saves me 6k from a Moes surgery, and sticks it to the medical conspiracy, well even better.

Also, I have a vita-mix. Can I liquify my own orange peels into an orange oil on my own?

I have found that the orange oil alone did not hurt my BCC either at first. I think its because its so deep that its hard to penetrate that far. For superficial BCC, it probably works great alone. On the other hand, as soon as I applied a little DMSO to the spot, and THEN added the orange oil, it did burn a bit. Not too bad though. In fact I started applying DMSO before almost everything at that point (baking soda, vinager, etc). Seems to get it to go deep very rapidly. Just an idea for you to try!

Hi Heidilee, I have had success with a dermatologist identified SCC that did not come back after a year using Cymilium (pancreatin enzymes, ammonia, and aloe vera), but I guess that's not quite a BCC like you asked about. Anyway, I have used orange oil too and the burning wasn't subtle at all for me using highly concentrated (>30%) D-limonene. I wonder if the difference could be due to the presence of an underlying fungal infection in my case and not yours. Just a thought. I think juicing an orange peel probably will be too weak a source of d-limonene, but who knows?

Mark brought up a good point about DMSO aiding penetration. DMSO also does have some anticancer properties all by itself, seen in the graphs in figure 1 of http://clincancerres.aacrjournals.org/cgi/reprint/11/19/6994 that describes a topical curcumin treatment for SCC.

On #3, did you mean reem or neem oil? Reem oil happens to be a perfume.

Best of luck Heidilee, this is a very interesting approach.

Sorry, I meant neem oil.

Thanks for the feedback. You know, I was just reading 1000s, yes 1000s of testimonials about using the cottage cheese/flax oil 2:1 treatment. One gal with BCC ate this daily for 3 weeks, rubbing the flax oil on the cancer, and it went away. I haven't seen any posts on this treatment. I think I'll use it in addition to the other topical stuff.

Any comments on that?

I am used NOW brand 100% orange oil. I was actually wondering if the chunk they took out of my neck actually removed most of it.

I have been eating plain lowfat yogurt mixed with golden flax seeds chopped in a coffee grinder for 5 breakfasts/week for probably two years now. I'm not sure what is working because I take other supplements as well, including vitamin D, coenzyme Q10, omega 3's, melatonin, resveratrol, quercetin, and green tea, but something is working. I recently visited some old coworkers that I haven't seen in 8 years, and it's always a shock to see how much some have aged and others have had obvious issues with skin cancers while others look exactly the same. Anyway, it made my day that several people said I looked exactly the same (but was dumb as ever). There are a ton of testimonials on the flax oil + cottage cheese and/or yogurt combination made famous by Johanna Budwig, and regardless it is good food and cheap. You can't go wrong.

The NOW orange oil isn't as strong as some other d-limonene extracts, but it did sting when I used it.

Hi Heidi

I have used a couple orange oils they all burned. The most potent I got at an Italian Foods store. Made by Torre Products in New York. It is as strong as I have found and Yeouch! They can probably tell you were you can buy their product local. 1/2 oz bottle has lasted quite a while for me. $5

Dan did you mean you along with cymilium you used enzymes, ammonia and aloe vera? I have not been using ammonia and it sure is strong in the cymillium.
I may start applying it along with the cymillium regularly. I spoke to Mike at Cymilium. He said the pancreatin enzymes they use are 5 times as potent as in eye solutions.
We can buy pancreatin enzymes of all sorts... maybe enzymes and ammonia is the ticket while eating cottage cheese, yogurt and flax seeds :)

Getting frustrated but the alternative is go back to the derm ...ugh!

Heidilee,

I can only claim success over a BCC with a home remedy that is now at about 6 months. But it is still gone after six, so that is a good sign. I attribute my win over this particular spot to cymilium, the home brew I make (see ingredients under Combo topic) and a change in diet and supplements taken. I think they all had an effect on the outcome.

I use yogurt and ground flaxseed, but I also supplement with a healthy dose of fish oil as well. I think, at least for me, that the full range of omega 3's from ALA to EPA is the best overall tact towards total immune system health (and a reduction of omega 6)....and also based on research....

"Epidemiological and animal-based investigations have indicated that the development of skin cancer is in part associated with poor dietary practices. Lipid content and subsequently the derived fatty acid composition of the diet are believed to play a major role in the development of tumorigenesis. Omega 3 (3) fatty acids, including docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), can effectively reduce the risk of skin cancer whereas omega 6 (6) fatty acids such as arachidonic acid (AA) reportedly promote risk.

http://www.pnas.org/cgi/content/full/98/13/7510

After changing much about my diet and supplementing with omega 3 oils and also changing to a castille soap for bathing has led to much improved skin health. The texture and look has certainly improved, and even some fine lines have diminished...(or my eyes could be going bad). I wish I had started this process years ago.

One other comment I might make...why only use one part of your list of 6 things at a time? Why not "team up" on the bugger and hit it with several things alternately, but on the same day? Cancers don't play fair, so hit 'em hard.

Good luck to you.

Anivoc, when I first started using Cymilium I only had a small amount and I was not certain that I could get any more. So I did try to stretch the supply with the ingredients listed on the box and at the same time identify what I believe are the active ingredients: pancreatin, ammonia, and aloe vera. The best enzyme supplement that I have tried is Source Naturals Pancreatin 8x for $9 at http://www.vitacost.com/Source-Naturals-Pancreatin-8X I have tried it topically too and it definitely reacts with and eventually clears bad skin. It looks to me like the old cancer treatment pioneers John Beard, William Kelley, and Johanna Budwig keep getting vindicated.

Heidilee;

I used the hoxsey/cansema/bloodroot salve on a BCC, basal cell carcinoma, about 1992. a 13mm lesion on my forehead. It completely killed the cancer to its roots in about 18 hours.

I applied it a 2nd time to the lesion, to make sure it got it all, about a week later.

Cancer was a direct result from a chemical exposure to skin while working at a chemical factory. I had it for about 3 years before killing it with the hoxsey salve.

It never came back.

1992---to ---- 2008 = 16 years.

I think that probably the burning pain you suffer from a 24 hour application of hoxsey salve is LESS THAN the combined hours of pain you suffer from taking many treatments given on this forum. These treatments are like "death from a thousand paper cuts" as compared to 24 hours of a one-time treatment.

cost is about $25 for a treatment amount to do 3 or 4 .... 1/2 inch cancers. ................. and by the way, as I understand it; the MD. that invented MOHS just took the hoxsey salve and combined it with surgery, micro-surgery.

But I am hoping that some of these kinder gentler treatments turn out to work, without any pain, and lead the body to heal the cancers by normalizing the cancerous tissue back to a healthy tissue.
