Okay, I am going to try and plug the info in about the skin oil made by the Curaderm folks along with a website which tells about the Tanamu oil which is in this ointment.Curaphyllum skin oil - Calophyllum inophyllum

An indigenous species, the Pacific Tamanu is a hardwood tree that yields small fruits whose nuts, dried and pressed, offers high quality oil.

The oil of Tamanu, has an unique capacity to promote the formation of new tissue and contains numerous curative and soothing properties, due in particular to a lactone that works like a natural antibotic, favouring the healing and regeneration of skin infection. From sun dried Tamanu nuts, Curaderm Global presses an oil that is very pure while rich in fatty acids with the conbination of the active ingredient BEC5.

For external use the main applications of the Curaphyllum skin oil are:

- To treat abrasions and bleeding wounds
- To treat dandruff
- To treat herps and chilblains
- To prevent perspiration odour
- To promote rapid healing without scaring
- To relieve sore throats and sinuses
- To treat and soothe dry skin
- To relieve muscle strains

- To get rid of acne scars
- To use as a facial cleanser.
