Hello all. My Dad has had many basal cell carcinomas removed (MOHS) from his skin. A few squamous cell carcinomas removed (also MOHS). These were removed from various places on the body, back, arms, head and neck. He has been getting them removed for at least 20 years (he is 74 now). The cancer has spread to his lymph nodes under his armpit and shoulder blade. Several small tumors show on scans, 2 large tumors are sticking out and are very firm to the touch located under armpit and shoulder blade. These are somewhat painful. The surface skin is normal above the tumor area.
He has declined chemo and radiation based on its statistical influence on survival rate. This diagnosis began around Feb 2015. He has opted for alternative protocols. What he has tried so far is listed below:
1-vegan diet, no dairy no meats. Fresh raw vegetables, fruits, whole grains, soy, ect. I am not preparing his food so I don't have a complete list.
2-Curcumin capsules. Tried plane curcumin but made spicy stools, then tried a proprietary curcumin blend but had a bad reaction from it so he stopped
3-apricot seeds up to 35 per day. (could be more harm than good)
4-pure benzaldehyde (5 drops) mixed with B-cyclodextrin capsules (seems to have a positive affect)
5-Melotonin (at night)
6-lipoic acid
7-Gallixa cream (small dose gallium maltolate) on the skin surface of the tumors
Items he just started taking (as one of the tumors is still growing)
Artemisinin (3-5 in the morning, 3-5 at night empty stomach along with omega fish oil)
Items he is looking into:
intravenous vitamin c intravenous artemisinin gallium nitrate (through the skin) gallium maltolate (orally) lactoferrine (oral) urea diluted (tumor injections) Intravenous holokiol Solasodine rhamnosyl glycosides (BEC)I understand it's in clinical trials in Italy) ellagic acid (raspberry extract) oxygen therapy Hydrogen peroxide therapy
A 4 week long pathology report is forthcoming. Most likely will be squamous, could be basal, regardless they say the cells are poorly differentiated, so I am not sure it makes much difference when it comes to alternative treatment options. We are in San Diego, but he does not really want to go to a clinic in Tijuana but would consider that if a trusted affective treatment was recommended. Thanks for any ideas.

Hi sqal, this site can be helpful for skin cancers but once the cancer reaches the lymph nodes I would recommend going to www.cancertutor.com where they have several complete alternative medicine protocols to consider. My favorites there are the Dirt Cheap Protocol and the Kelley Metabolic Treatment. They list the both supplements to take and which ones would interfere with a given protocol. In my opinion, they seem to push Rife (high frequency RF) type treatments a little too much based on their current maturity but they are absolutely great on diet and supplement cocktails. All the best to your dad. I am so impressed by people like him that are looking for a better way and are willing to fight for it.
Thanks for the post, you are very welcome here! I hope this reply will not preclude anyone else from commenting. |

Thanks for the response Dan. I figured this forum was centered around cancers on the skin, and not metastatic skin cancer. I thought I would post here in case anyone has successfully reversed stage 4 MBCC or MSCC using alterative therapies and what those therapies consisted of. There is very little information on MBCC and MSCC patients using alternative therapies and certainly no forum for them. If we find anything works I'll post it so others can read it just in case. Thanks. |
