I have read from posts that were over 7 years old about some coconut oil removing serious spots of Actinic keratosis. I believe this is true, in fact at some point in derma history, coconut oil's natural healing power has been confirmed. The moisturizing effect of it with the non-greasy feeling after-wash is absolutely amazing. I have seriously considered such suggestion only that I have to walk miles to get to the next stall for unprocessed coconut oil. But anyway, I still get the same non-greasy feeling with what I found online. That's why I let go of the coconut oil to treat my AK. I ordered SR lotion online after I saw one of the reviews in amazon telling me about the non-sticky feeling after application; oh boy, that's one of my requirement. I end up recommending SR lotion for fellow AK sufferer in my area. I wasn't disappointed with the result.
