Hello, our doctor called us today with the results from a skin test he had done after coming in with a scab like growth on his face, she said it's intermediate Squamous Cell Carcinoma. He is scheduled for Moh's surgery within the month. I have been doing much research and am wondering about the most effective alternative treatments we can do in the meantime, these are the ones I have found and would really appreciate any insight as to which provide good results.
BEC-5 (eggplant extract) cream for the scab
if that doesn't help I was going to look for Cannabis oil or Cesium Chloride.
Also wanted to start alkalizing his body with Sodium Bicarbonate (baking soda), Black seed, Colloidal Silver, Soursop and B17
I also have apple cider vinegar and I guess my question is, where do I (we) start?

I bought him some BEC-5 (eggplant extract) to put on the scab.
My worry comes with the SPREAD of the disease which I read can happen in the lymphatic system and beyond. How can we prevent this?
So far we have ordered.
Colloidal silver
B17
Baking soda (aluminum free)
Black seed
we already have;
turmeric
himalayan pink salt
Apple cider vinegar
and of course will be tweaking the diet, he eats well as it is.
Any advice is welcome and appreciated |

Sorry but my personal experience with BEC5 makes me pretty certain you are wasting your time and having him go through unnecessary pain prior to surgery. It may also make your dermatologist upset.
Cannabis oil takes a long time...doubt it would make a big difference in a month.
There are a few others like bloodroot paste that is very fast and very effective...also very painful and very powerful so if it is deep it would cause tremendous swelling.
You're in a tough place because squamous can be dangerous. Sadly if it was me and already scheduled the surgery, I'd just follow the doctors advice...unless he was OK with me treating it with bloodroot paste prior to surgery..I definitely would if he/she said it was OK.
Mohs surgery is the medical gold standard for removal of skin cancer lesions.
I have been self treating Basal cell cancers for the last 12 years but if one was diagnosed squamous I would personally use bloodroot past then have the area biopsied afterwords..squamous is more aggressive and can go further faster.
I have a thread called the truth about bloodroot paste that has a lot of great information.
There is also a thread on Curaderm / BEC5 where both advocates and opponents state their experiences... IMO there are enough of us here that have tried to use it who've suffered painfully trying to use it with unsuccessful results that I would never recommend it.

Hi Musclego, I have no experience with SCC, but the things that worked best for my BCC were topical vitamin C and baking powder (not together necessarily). Also an ACES combo, which is vitamin A, Vit C, vit E and selenium mixed together.
So that is three different treatments that I made into pastes and applied to the BCC or other suspicious areas and saw the lesion get smaller.
You ask about metastasis. I would say that no one here can really help you with that question. No one can guarantee that the cancer will not spread with these methods. Unfortunately, IMO, neither can the medical mainstream. I read about people undergoing multiple MOHs surgeries and then the cancer metastasizes. It is really a tissue sparing technique, but unfortunately not a cure.
Anyway, I treat topically with vitamin C and take a wide range of vitamins and minerals, with an emphasis on selenium, copper and zinc. I would be happy to explain further if you have any questions. |

| Hi Musclegto, I'll chime in with my favorite: pancreatic enzymes. Topical pancreatin mixed with ammonia and aloe vera cured my SCC within about a month. It initially got worse (more inflamed) for a few days but then it settled down and I could tell it was working within a week. There's a web page describing it at http://www.topicalinfo.org/Topical.htm There was no significant pain and the cure has lasted 13 years now. I don't think there is much of a chance that it will make a mess of things. Other people have had success using this for various skin cancers but it evidently doesn't work for everyone. I'm thinking it might work best for Squamous Cell Carcinomas rather than Basal Cell Carcinomas. I would go with the SupraClens contact lens cleaner as a source for pancreatin, aloe vera, household (3%) ammonia, and a few drops of urine for the urea mixed in the contact lens case that comes with SupraClens. I applied the mixture every couple of hours. |
