Has anyone seen their AK's flame out after a week on this cleanser? I also am using a enzyme spray. Possibly that flamed these out of nowhere. They were under control when I cleanse with Shisedo.

Hi Charliebrowntri, I think it is not surprising that you got a reaction from either the enzyme spray or the Philosophy Purity product. Looking up the ingredients at http://www.sephora.com/purity-made-simple-P7109 , we have:
Water, Sodium Lauroamphoacetate, Sodium Trideceth Sulfate, Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Coco-Glucoside, Coconut Alcohol, Peg-120 Methyl Glucose Dioleate, Aniba Rosaeodora (Rosewood) Wood Oil, Geranium Maculatum Oil, Guaiac (Guaiacum Officinale) Extract, Cymbopogon Martini Oil, Rosa Damascena Extract, Amyris Balsamifera Bark Oil, Santalum Album (Sandalwood) Oil, Salvia Officinalis (Sage) Oil, Cinnamomum Cassia Leaf Oil, Anthemis Nobilis Flower Oil, Daucus Carota Sativa (Carrot) Seed Oil, Piper Nigrum (Pepper) Seed Extract, Polysorbate 20, Glycerin, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Yellow 5 (Ci 19140)
They list the purpose of some of these:
-Sodium Lauroamphoacetate: Acts as a mild surfactant that gently cleanses the skin without irritation or residue. -Meadowfoam Seed Oil: Lightly hydrates the skin leaving the skin comfortable, not pulled or tight. -Sodium Trideceth Sulfate: Pulls dirt, debris, and makeup from the skin and dissolves them. -Twelve-Essential Oil Blend (Including Rosewood, Sandalwood, Sage): Helps soften, soothe, and rejuvenate the skin.
What attracts my attention are the essential oils. These tend to contain terpines that cancers hate. I have had good success with orange and rosemary essential oils treating what appeared to be skin cancers and AKs.
I like this writeup about turpentine (a pine oil terpine) from http://www.health-science-spirit.com/kero.htm "Look at the forest or bushland trees. Some of their greatest enemies are fungi and parasites. As a defence, they developed various chemical strategies to kill or repel these attackers. We know and use these biochemicals as eucalyptus oil, neem oil, tea tree oil, pau d'arco extract, olive leaf extract, turpentine and other essential oils. Most of these oils are composed of hydrocarbons, just like kerosene. The main chemical in turpentine, alpha-pinene, is also present in the oils of rosemary and eucalyptus."
I have a writeup about understanding the role of enzymes in treating and preventing cancers at http://www.topicalinfo.org/Skincancer.htm
So you came across two of the most potent natural cancer treatments. I think the natural tendency is to see a reaction like you got and avoid what caused it. I always looked at those reactions and kept going and it paid off for me, anyway. I am not sure what you plan to do.
