I just started using Cymilium for a red area on my nose. I have been taking pancreatin orally for a while, thought it was helping at first, but seemed to need more frequent doses to prevent the "tinglies" from returning. I now have an appt with a dermatologist, but decided to try Cymilium while waiting for my appointment (2 months from now).
Anyway, this is the third day using Cymilium, and the whole area is raw and slightly oozing blood (when I blot off the Cymilium). Does this mean it is working? That the skin cancer is too deep? Should I keep using it, use less often, or stop completely? I'm pretty sure the bleeding will stop if I clean it, use HP, and then castor oil for healing. Will that interfere with what the Cymilium has already accomplished (if anything)? |

Update - I jut checked again, and it isn't the whole area that is oozing blood, just a semi-circle around the "pit." This semi-circle started to look bloody a few days before I started using Cymilium. The center of what used to be the pit was like a scab; now it's filled in with something whitish - maybe skin, maybe pus - I don't know. The outer area is just reddish-pink but only the small semi-circle is bloody if I blot it. Not as bad as I thought earlier.
When I first apply more Cymilium, it stings for a minute, then feels fine - no tingling or anything. |

I only occasionally saw anything like what you described while using cymilium, so I really don't have any solid advice.
I did on occassion get some watery liquid after treating the areas "rough" for a few days (3X per day cymilium, washing with baking soda, applying my home brew). When it got to that point I would back off for a day or two and let things heal a bit.
One spot that I thought was healing very slowly because it stayed so red I finally just left alone for about 3-4 days. It really looked great after just letting it be. Maybe I was just irratating it with treatments and it was mostly healed anyway.
So, you might back off for a day or two and see how the spot improves.
Are you applying the cymilium 3X daily? I did (do) on occassion, otherwise only twice a day, but apply it heavily when I do (cake it on). I would generally leave it caked on for an hour or so and then wipe off the excess and massage in just a bit of what was left.
Also, it really seems to work well in combination with other topicals...like SunSpotES, or probably orange oil (I have never used orange oil) or my home brew of IP6, ginger, vit C, green tea in DMSO. |

Thanks, Rocco. Actually, for the first couple of days I used the Cymilium as often as possible, which probably irritated it too much, so I have backed off a little. The Cymilium site says to use it 3X daily for 5 days, then 2X daily thereafter, continuing for 7 days after disappearance of the lesion. I'm really glad to see specific guidance on that.
This morning, I was going out, and since it's on my face and looks really gross, I rinsed off the Cymilium in the shower. It was a little bloody, but I dabbed on HP to clean it, which really helped. Then used a little make-up (cover stick applied gently with my finger) around the outer edges, which I think made it less noticeable. When I got home, I cleaned the area again and put the Cymilium back on. I plan to do that again whenever I have to go out.
The pink area did get larger while the Cymilium was on, as expected. This morning, while the Cymilium was off, it started to fade, so I feel OK about the way things are progressing. I hope by the time I see the dermatologist it will be much improved. |
