I have used Vitamin C over the years for 1 or 2 spots and have had great success. About 2 weeks ago I decided to attack a small red spot on my chest, and went ahead and put the water and C mixture all over my chest...after 2 days of this not only the small initial spot had grown and turned very angry, but my entire chest broke out in what looks like a horrible case of poison ivy. Itches like crazy, the only relief would come from a very hot shower..like I was having some type of an allergic reaction. I got some calamine lotion with a combo of antihistimine, and it helps. Have ordered some Vitamin C Ascorbate (calcium, magnesium, potassium), since I've heard that it is the ascorbates that do the killing not the acid. I'm kinda scared to continue this treatment..seems wherever I put the solution, a few swollen red dots will appear, and itch like crazy!! HELP!
