thank you, dan and others ...

i'm new to your topical skin cancer forum. am trying to self-heal from AK's and possible AC (actinic cheilitis), or even BCC or SCC (not biopsied; it's at my upper lip line and on the lower lip (possible AC, hopefully no SCC yet) which are areas too sensitive and aesthetically critical for me to be willing to have a biopsy.

i have read nearly every word that you wrote re: treatment options, cancer theory (dr. kelley's), and personal experiences ... as well as countless postings from others.

i'm in the process of trying the "cannabis cure", which is mostly using poultices of high CBD cannabis processed with a cold-extraction process (not psychoactive) ... i've mixed it with some DMSO to make it more spreadable to aid penetration. There is some information available on this method, and i decided to start this way. my dr. has also prescribed Efudex ... I have a tube of it, but after many months and looking at the reports from others, i've not had the guts to put it on or near my lips! Hence, my search for alternatives!

just wanted to let you know how grateful i am for what you (and others) have done to help everyone dealing with these difficult challenges. as a result of what i've learned on this forum, i've just gotten two tubes of Cymilium (they are $20 each now ... still a BIG bargain if they have any positive effect!). as soon as i get the "guts" to put something potentially harsh on my sensitive areas ... i'll add that to my current protocol, tho am not sure how best to integrate it.

i've also contacted a woman who offers nutritional support for people with cancer, and who is the last student trained by Dr. Kelley. i'm hoping to speak with her by phone on monday. i had to do quite a bit of research and calling around to find her; apparently she is keeping a low profile deliberately. I'll post info on reaching her after i ask her if it's OK to do so!

mostly, i just wanted to thank you, and all the others who have taken the time to share what they've learned. i'll keep you all posted on how my own protocol is working!

blessings to all,

lani
