Nothing else I use was helping a sudden patch of dry and very itchy patch of skin that appeared on the other side of my forehead to the first skin tumor. I could feel a firm mass of flesh like an ear of corn size underneath it. It was growing fast, too fast to use slower, gentler therapies. Whether this was a secondary tumor that grew aggressively as a result of treatment of the first, I don't know.

I used the Black Salve.

Bang, it went off like Vesuvius, and the eye below it swelled up almost shut. Eschar was strangely somewhat painful this time, for three days after the salve was removed. Salve was containing DMSO. Seemed to sink deep. I even worried if the cancer had gone into the bone, but it seems not. This is two weeks later, the eschar fell out today. I used dressings that had a non-adhesive patch for the wound, so I know it wasn't pulled out by force, it definitely detached itself.

Anyone know what's best for healing after Black Salve? I got some Tamanu Oil, some Aftercare cream from the salve makers, and also some Neem oil. What is best?

Well done Robbie.
I have a similar one on the side of my head at present that had a firm mass like a flattened grain of wheat under my skin above and to the front of my right ear. I have had the same success as you. It has all gone yellow and hard and i am awaiting the dropping out of the eschar probably over the next week to 10 days.

On all the other 15 or so skin cancers i have already treated, i use Lucas Paw Paw Ointment, which you can buy from a good pharmacy or on the internet. Also, we have aloe vera plants in pots in our garden and i simply cut off a thick juicy stem of it and use the initial slight brown coloured sap first. It only happens once when you first cut a stem but it is the best in taking away the stinging feeling and neutralising it.

After that i simply cut and open a small cross-section of aloe vera stem and rub its cooling sap all over the treated area. It helps greatly in healing and assisting the Paw paw ointment to feed the new skin cells and accelerate the healing process.

Thanks Ken.

I've now seen your vid. Keep going man, there's little doubt that Black Salve/Bloodroot paste works, away from mucus membranes anyway.

I've seen fit to apply it to the same site again actually, it seemed gone to me and starting to heal, but Peroxide 3% said no, it bubbled and whitened the site. Surprise surprise, it's kicked off again in a smaller manner after reapplying the salve and an eschar is forming now. Painful again like the primary was not, who knows why. It looks like the whole of my forehead is sun damaged, the salve kicks off anywhere I put it there. Yet it did not react on my inner arm where I tested it first. Logic applies.

Thanks for the info anyway, I'll have to get to it.

Good on you Robbie.
Yes, i have found that i sometimes need to treat a basal skin cancer colony 2 or 3 times to get all of the nasty little roots out.
But the end result is peace of mind and less scaring than if i had to submit to surgery.

That's another useful and reassuring answer Ken.

Well, the second eschar came out two days ago. I find it odd that the wound is still weeping a small amount, into the dressing, two days later. What can this mean? Does it signify there is another application needed? I can see no obvious roots now and it isn't reacting much at the moment to Peroxide 3% held on it.

Robbie
I wouldn't worry about it weeping. You have to remember you basically performed chemical surgery. If a doctor had cut it out and not sutured it up, it would weep until a scab was formed. I would just keep it clean and as dry as possible. The deep ones take a while to heal and fill in. If your older it takes even longer.

Yes, I believe Quercus is right RobbieTG. On my deeper holes after using Cansema Black Salve, i use Lucas Pawpaw Ointment and some fresh Aloe Vera gel direct from a stalk in my garden. It really helps to feed the new repair skin tissue and kills any secondary infection.

Thanks for the replies, it's stopped weeping last week and is slowly growing a little thin skin over the crater left. Hey, it got it out, no doubts there. In fact I found yet another one, a lot smaller but was another little sore spot under the skin with a little nodule forming on the skin. I treated that gingerly as heck with a tiny amount almost like a pinhead. That too swelled up slightly, and the salve made inroads above it too. I was worried as this was closer to my eye. The small eschars come out today, I can see no roots and it isn't reacting with Peroxide 3% as a test.

I'm also using B17 cream, which has also been tried on my eyelids without bad effects. 7% with 5% DMSO added and jojoba oil I think. Bit soon to know if B17 works but I'll post on it after a while.

I do have pictures actually but I'm uneasy making them publicly viewable as the docs in this county here really are against anything except slash burn and poison. I'd get hell if they knew. If anyone really wants to see contact me privately.

Good on you Robbie. Sounds like the Cansema Black Salve treatment has gone successfully for you.

Thanks for your success stories. I am looking for advice on clearing the eschar from the top of my foot. I put black salve on a group of three warts (two regular one large) and it is now day 6. If I didn't know any better I would think my foot is going to explode. What can I do to help these monstrosities expel? If it would help I could insert an image, but its pretty gross...

Tootsie the trouble is, at this stage we have to be patient.
Sure, it will look like a volcano on the top of your foot and I am guessing it looks very red and inflamed? Right?
It's very hard for me to help you accurately, because I can't even see a current picture of your current situation.
If you could post a pic that would be so much more helpful.
This inflammation stage is the normal first stage that I have personally experienced, anyway.
At this stage I keep changing my dressings morning and night time, using swispers (oval shaped pads used in female bra's, but very handy in a pack of 40 or so for comfortable bandage pads) and proper paper bandaging tape from my chemist.
If there is any pain I take two Neurofen Plus tablets at first and then if the pain picks up again in 4-5hours time I take a single Neurofen.
Also, for some inflammation relief I use pure coconut oil, and/or raw aloe vera sap from a fresh cut stalk, and/or pawpaw ointment (without any petroleum base ingredient in it) and/or frankincense oil and/or pure lavender oil.
Be patient is the main thing.
Allow the scabs to fall out of their own accord is what I do and do not pick or pull at them.
For bad itching, I use coconut oil and or lavender oil and or frankincense and myrrh oil.
Hope this helps from my personal experience.
I am not a doctor. So, that is another thing you could do.
See a competent experienced cancer specialist, but be careful.
From my own experience of seeing numbers of so-called skin cancer specialists, some of them are not as knowledgeable and wise as they should be.

Well to add to Ken's advice... Keeping it covered and moistened would be my advice...and changing the dressings at least once a day...

3m Micropore tape is awesome I bought a box with (6) 2" rolls for @ $20 delivered should last me for years..

Sterile gauze pad of any kind...and

something to keep it moist a healing salve ...like neosporin ...
I used to use Chickweed salve
But now make my own little salve using bees wax, olive oil and coconut oil... 1 part bees wax, 2 parts olive oil, 1 part coconut oil..melt it down in a double boiler and it works for me ..no infections so far...
