If so, it might be because you were never diagnosed in the first place or you were diagnosed but didn't think treatment was right for you. Or maybe you did try treatment, and it was unsuccessful and the BCC kept coming back? Why do you think your BCC has advanced? Choices: I waited because I didn't think it was serious I knew something was wrong but didn't want to see a doctor to get it confirmed I'm not a person who takes action quickly I didn't want disfiguring surgery There wasn't any prescription product to take for it I have other medical conditions, and BCC is not as important as other things I would absolutely treat it if there was some safe, cosmetically acceptable solution Grace2Go USA 64 Posts Posted - 11/12/2017 :  16:30:06     Mine advanced initially because I did not have insurance and could not afford a biopsy to confirm the type of skin cancer, much less the surgery to treat it.
