In my case I'm pretty sure it was.
I can't help but feel some of these theories that fungi can be a factor have some weight.
This place had some toxic black mold, just about the same time I first got the skin cancer. I got a fungal infection in the ears, I killed that off with good food grade Hydrogen Peroxide.
Fungi are strange things you know, if you look it up you may find they're no longer classed as plants. They have an entire scientific category all their own.
The evidence to me, points to a fungal cause.
We've had a new boiler in now and new pipes everywhere.
It just strikes me as a very odd coincidence. |

I realize that some people are affected by certain things and some people aren't i.e. some people are allergic to poison oak ,,,some like me are not...some have no reaction to a mosquito bite while others like myself get a big bump...
The reason I don't believe these lesions are from fungi is that in my case I have a boatload of cousins and we are scattered all over the country..a specific lucky chosen few all get skin cancers...we all have similar skin and eyes... None of my siblings, nor my wife get them...Two daughters one is fairer and so far at 32 no lesions one is a little darker and got her first BCC at 32..
I do believe it is skin types and an immune system thing. If there were say mold in a house and everyone in the house got skin cancer that might lead me to believe in the fungi thing...but I am not saying you are wrong it could be that only certain people are affected by the spores....I don't know....I just know that in areas like the inside of my thigh that have never been sunburned I have healthy skin in areas that had a lot of sun damage I have hell to pay....coincidence...unlikely...
Again maybe the combination of damaged skin and fungi cause it to evolve into skin cancer but it is for sure just speculation at this juncture...no science based evidence to date that would link the two or identify a certain fungi that is the culprit... |

Yes, it is puzzling.
My situation was a bit more involved with fungi. I was growing my hair, (Middle aged and I thought why not, this may be my last chance!) However, I had it all cut off. The barber freaked out. The haircut revealed a scary fungal infection on my scalp, fingers of white fungus. It also revealed a blood vessel protruding and going straight to what I now believe was the primary tumor on my forehead. I did for the scalp thing with Lugols Iodine then Apple Cider Vinegar, the tumor was blasted with Black Salve.
I had been using antibacterial shower gels for years, but I didn't take account of fungi. Antibacterial is not necessarily antifungal. That was a big hole in my knowledge.
For years in my thirties you see, I thought I was Iron Man, I treated my health and my skin quite roughly. I used to let the cat lick my scalp, that was a mistake too I think. It's just too much of a coincidence not to strike me as a likely cause, you see. |
