I have over a 5-7 year span had skin issues with Tinea,I also had bouts of B.V. which is a yeast infection in women. In the past 7 months on and off I have had a white "worm like" matter come from areas of extremely dry skin. I drag my tweezers over the skin and these "worm like" strings stick straight out of my skin. I have thought I had everything from Morgellons to certain parasites that aren't even in this country.I also have a bevvy of other symptoms such as,chronic fatigue, nausea, blurred vision, migraines, diarrhea, brain fog, general pain all over to name the constant ones. I also have Multiple Sclerosis which gives you those symptoms with fatigue, migraines and pain and then I came across Candida overgrowth which has all of my symptoms I mentioned and 20+ more. Another kooky thing is it can wreak havoc on nervous system leading to neurological issues such as MS where it has been proven to be linked.I am waiting to see a specialist and if ANYONE has anything remotely similar happening and or has advice I would love to hear it! ~Peace~

The Doc is sending me to an infectious disease specialist and my stool sample is off to the lab. However there is a certain amount of yeast that is suppose to be in there and from what I have read its very hard to get a definitive diagnosis. The proof is in the putting though and try as they might you can not turn a blind eye to filaments coming out of your skin. My doctor thinks all of these symptoms are seperate (which btw 20 diff issues) I need to speak to a shrink to say what I know to be true simply because she has never encountered this before. She is allowing me to see a specialist why is it Doctors think they know everything until they don't and then its either wrong or not true. UGH! I have noticed ppl look at these posts but no replies?? HELP if you know anything about yeast over growth.

Hi pokergurl, hopefully someone will be able to help. Half the battle is just getting a name for what you have. You might want to look at http://www.morgellonsuk.org.uk/micromyiasis.htm and see if any of it could be what is happening to you. |
