Those of us interested in complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) therapies may want to take notice of the following and write your congressman and/or the FDA....even if you are just a vitamin taker, enjoy an occasional massage, or like a glass of Gatorade this could affect you. The FDA is wanting to regulate all of the above...which could mean a further restriction or an outright elimination of some of the products we may want or need.

"The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is announcing the
availability of a draft guidance for industry entitled ``Complementary
and Alternative Medicine Products and Their Regulation by the Food and
Drug Administration.'' "

There is a mention of the above on the following page. It has links to another article and links to those parties that should be contacted to voice disapproval of the above.

Please pass this on to others as well. We may need to take some action to protect our rights to CAM.
