Posted - 01/17/2010 : 01:27:09 I went into Dr for a mole or such on forehead - it was ok - mentioned itchy spot on top of head - had it for 15 years since I was bit by a tick - they did a biopsy and scheduled me for MOH's - they did the purse stitch - total size a quarter - what bugs me is when I went back as the PA wanted to see me on a follow up for something else - and I wanted arm mole removed - she looked at top of head and said oh that looks suspicious - - I just had had MOH surgery about a month previous - oh yes, they "didn't get it all" - I asked the surgeon how in heavens name do they check my whole body - but when it comes to surgery on my scalp they don't look at anything - - so now I am suppose to go back - I had to put t on hold as I was in hospital and put on coumadin - My family Dr said that there were more ways then MOH - he is more concerned about my lungs (had pneumonia and P/E - two of my friends went elsewhere as they got tired of everytime they went back to have their MOH surgery checked "hey quite didn't get it all"- |
