He is being checked all of a sudden for many different issues, including immune blood antibodies. He has had this patch growing for the last couple of months. doctors didn't think anything of it untill I raised hell. I have been googling this issue for a while.and hae seen similar paterns in the basl cancer picts. is there anything that can work for such issue for such a young child. he was given PROTOPIC cream which has brought the redness outright and now leaks. It is on his face near his mouth.

Protopic Ointment is used to treat moderate to severe atopic dermatitis, a form of eczema. http://www.fda.gov/CDER/Drug/InfoSheets/patient/protopicPT.htm says Protopic should not be used for patients under 2 years of age. It also carries a cancer risk. Based on the FDA warning, I would certainly find another doctor. But you do need a good doctor to make a diagnosis and suggest a treatment.
