I have been googling this issue for a while.and hae seen similar paterns in the basl cancer picts. is there anything that can work for such issue for such a young child. he was given PROTOPIC cream which has brought the redness outright and now leaks. Posted - 04/18/2009 : 00:44:43 Protopic Ointment is used to treat moderate to severe atopic dermatitis, a form of eczema. http://www.fda.gov/CDER/Drug/InfoSheets/patient/protopicPT.htm says Protopic should not be used for patients under 2 years of age. It also carries a cancer risk. Based on the FDA warning, I would certainly find another doctor. But you do need a good doctor to make a diagnosis and suggest a treatment. |
