Those of us interested in complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) therapies may want to take notice of the following and write your congressman and/or the FDA....even if you are just a vitamin taker, enjoy an occasional massage, or like a glass of Gatorade this could affect you. The FDA is wanting to regulate all of the above...which could mean a further restriction or an outright elimination of some of the products we may want or need.

"The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is announcing the
availability of a draft guidance for industry entitled ``Complementary
and Alternative Medicine Products and Their Regulation by the Food and
Drug Administration.'' "
