I used cansema on my face on a lesion I have had excised, frozen etc etc and it always came back. I tried cansema and that was about five years ago now and it hasn't returned- touch wood!

I'm one of the poster children here for Bloodroot paste. And yes Dan you can as Basalboy says start carefully. Definitely not something I would smear all over my face.

I was lucky enough to get my first bloodroot past from a semi medical person.. a Horse Veterinarian Dr. Larsen of Larsen Labs who developed his XXTerra bloodroot paste for Sarcomas on Horses. Works like a charm on the horsies.

He won't sell it to us humans anymore but if you're a vet you can buy XXterra... It works.. boy does it work yeeeouch!

1 application for 24 hours and game on.

This is what Dr. Mohs used to identify the cancerous area before removing the tumor. He would do the same thing, applying 24 hours prior to excision. Anything that turned white he removed.

It was later on that he started doing the freeze, slice and examine under the microscope thing.

BTW I have actually watched the slicing of the frozen tissue sample... cool little machine

Dr. Larsen explained it to me something like this. These foreign lesions are growing in our bodies undetected by our immune system. They have this bubble / barrier around them that fools the immune system into thinking they are just part of the body so they don't attack it.

The bloodroot paste pops the bubble and exposes the tumor... The Whit blood cells attack and bye bye c-ya.

It's the attack that causes the pain and swelling.

You can pick a small lesion and try it out but just know what to expect. I have written extensively on the bloodroot experience here and posted pictures of my fun and games with it.

Good Luck!

I think I was born with basal cells because the doctors have been cutting them off since the 1970s. I have a love hate relationship with can seem a much like a diabetic with insulin, because although it works isn't exactly fun. Open the little jarring of get to know that accurate smell and see the black paste. I've tried a couple of Black Salves but they can't seem it seemed to work best and now I guess they've been chased off to Ecuador by the FDA. I saw pictures of people with huge craters on their skin, though for me it didn't seem that aggressive and sometimes I would have to apply it more than once . Someone tell me that DMSO helps drive it deeper into the skin and I have tried adding that after it dries out a bit to keep it moisturized rather than just water I had been using.

Whatever you do don't go headlong smearing it all over your body because you don't know what it will do. Preferably find a tiny spot and debit with tiny bit of the salve. If after a few seconds you feel a tiny stinging, then something is happening. For me after a little while this stinging subsided and sometimes I would put a Band-Aid over the spot. Strangely, after hundreds of uses over the years I never had a problem with infection, though the sites will often ooze a clear liquid. The typical cycle is after applying it a little scab forms over the spot, grows thicker and eventually falls off leaving a little white crater that seems to fill in with good skin. Many times some of the pigment is lost from the skin so it will appear a bit lighter. Sometimes the basal cell is gone permanently, but sometimes either it returned or one that was quite adjacent, and I can't tell because I've had so many of them. Dan's website seems to have some other opportunities possibly worth exploring, though I didn't see any that jumped out as the absolute miracle cure.

While using the salve was not fun, I preferred using it over going to a dermatologist and having them chop at my body. If your friend has used this ask her about it and definitely check out the fancy website which has instructions for its use. They are good people and if they just said it was some cosmetic thing for the skin they would not be in trouble, yet they risked their future to help people with problems we have. Again, start with a tiny spot, probably not on your face.

thanks for reply dan. i agree with you, reluctant is my thot also. i have desided to remain chicken over desperate. i have done alot of searching.. some good, some not.. but with my allergies, length of time that i have batteled this, and having deeper leisons. think this is probally a no go for me. right now pure coconut oil is soothing, but thats about it. thanks again.

Hi Judy, I do not have any experience with cansema but there are dozens of posts on cansema and bloodroot salves in this forum found using the search feature in the upper right corner. I don't think anyone questions whether bloodroot based skin cancer remedies work or not. From what I understand, bloodroot salves work but can be very painful (possibly severe unrelenting pain). Another bad feature is that it is difficult to give bloodroot salves a controlled test run. So I would be reluctant to use cansema for the first time on a big lesion or on the face. Maybe I'm a bit chicken but I am also not desperate, having used topical pancreatin and orange oil skin cancer remedies that have worked well for me in ways I now feel comfortable controlling.
