Posted - 05/28/2011 : 06:56:34 Hi, I am supposed to have surgery (with a large graft) on my nose for a BCC. I have just started researching online as I'm terrified of having the surgery and how it will look (not to mention the massive cost).
I'm now quite confused....after reading many entries here I placed an order for Cymilium...but as I live in Australia it could take a long time to reach me....so in the meantime what should I do? I've started right now with firstly lemon juice and then a paste of Vit C powder.
Should I continue this dual treatment with the Lemon Juice and Vit C till the Cymilian arrives? Or should I also buy the Perrins Salve? If anyone can help I'd be very grateful....Thank you. |

Posted - 05/31/2011 : 00:46:52 Like you, I was scheduled for Mohs surgery for a BCC on my nose...also terrified because of all the grafting, I postponed the surgery and ordered Cymilium AND Perrins.
I live in Canada (west coast)and the Perrins took about 2 weeks to arrive (from Tennessee)and the Cymilium just over that (not quite 3 weeks).
I used the Perrins for a solid month and didn't notice much of anything at all. I switched to the Cymilium and it seemed to be working quite well but I scared myself when a big chunk of the BCC fell away (which I felt happy about) but it seemed that the next day there was a secondary BCC that had cropped up right beside the first one. This was after about 3 weeks of Cymilium.
I went back to the drawing board because I felt like I may have spread the cancer with a treatment that was too aggressive -- although that spot may have been there all along, (I just didn't know). I found a few posts on this site that swear by epsom salts. I've been using epsom salts for about a week now and I have noticed an improvement...personally, I would recommend this treatment until your cymilium arrives.
What others have posted is: mix a heaping teaspoon of epsom salts with about a tablespoon of hot water and blend until the crystals are dissolved...dab this on the lesion with a cotton ball. Try to repeat the process 2 to 3x a day. It dries like a fine powder so it's not so bad to have it on your face when you're out in public.
I hope this helps...believe me, I know how you feel and it's pretty scary to be faced with invasive surgery. When is the surgery scheduled for?
I wish you all the best!
