Posted - 12/17/2010 : 14:38:26 OK I have one Basal cancer on my cheek - plus many red spots. I have read many threads here and I am completely lost!
What should I try first?
I have some Sunspot ES here that I have tried in the past (without success). I finally had my dermatologist use liquid nitrogen and it worked just fine. So I don't have much confidence about it. And it burned like hell if I remember well.
I have read the recent thread about Iodine and it seems to work well. Easy to find too.
What would you do? |

Posted - 02/05/2011 : 03:04:51 This is interesting. Ive used topical cansema as well as taking it internally. ive had numerous bccs crop at once in one area.. that was not nice. Ive got a couple of bccs, hard pearly lumps, on my forehead, and i was wondering what strength iodine you used. Is there anything specific i need to know about the iodine??. is it easy to buy over the counter? Ive also used petty spurge which was good. WE grow it here a lot. I owould like to try the iodine so i can compare the different treatments.. judy

Mexico,I have used cansema black salve which works well. I've used curaderm on small matchhead size ones and that worked. But curaderm was limited in its ability to penetrate deeper ones like one on my back(9cm dia.)I treated it for almost two years. Then I started using iodine solution on 9th September 2010,and already its well over half healed. At the same time I've been using iodine on my face for smaller ones and they were completely healed between 1 and 3 weeks. Cansema only requires one or two applications, whereas iodine needs AT LEAST three daily. In australia I can buy iodine locally and apply it with eyedropper ,which is very convenient, and iodine is the cheaper option. Regards River.
