Okay, I'll try to keep up with capsaicin (arthritis cream) updates, starting a thread. It seemed interesting on some possible AKs. I took a couple of days off because I had some spread near my lips, but was outside on a windy day and the wind blew my hair across my lips and into my eyes. NOT GOOD. TAKE CARE of unexpected results if using on face. But I plan to come back to it when some other things here settle down a bit.
Meanwhile my Petty Spurge seedlings, though developing some leaves, are TINY!

Hi, back again!
The brand is Brooks pharmacy in-house Capsaicin (in a tube) HP 0.075%, Topical Analgesic Cream High Potency Arthritis Pain Relief, odor free, reaseless, Net Wt.2 oz. It wasn't expensive. In other words, over the counter stuff.
I have been using it on-and-off on some long-standing AKs (I think) on my face, which seem to be threatening to develop further, one on my nose and some above my upper lip. I think I detect some disappearance. The burning is mild (as long as you don't let it get in your eyes) and in a funny way, my skin always feels "better" the day after. I am encouraged to keep trying.

I am very eager, also, to try the Petty Spurge. But at the moment my plants are extremely "petty" or SMALL. I planted the seeds in potting soil, rather than just garden dirt, but they are not taking to it the way most plants do. Perhaps it's just the lousy "perpetual spring" weather of gray and rain that we had for 3 months. I'm still hoping for some leaves to pick and some flowers and seeds, before fall.

Petty Spurge, Capsaicin, and also, still, Pancreatin (in skin cream) are my favorite 3 right now. As for Eggplant, I make sure to EAT it, not using it topically right now. My main trouble with myself is that I am back to that "glass of wine," which is bad for the Candida. I am enjoying it and wishing I did not.
Best to all.

thanks01 Hi!
How is the capsaicin cream working for you? How are your seedlings doing?
What brand of capsaicin cream did you use?
thanks!

This thread was started as a more explicit follow-up to the original thread: Jalapenos? at http://www.topicalinfo.org/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=557, thinking that people might more likely be looking for discussion on capsaicin (the extract from the Jalapenos) or arthritis cream, the common name for Capsaicin Creme of different brands, used as a rub for arthritis aches and pains.
The Jalapenos thread started with the following web link:

Just ran across this article and found it interesting. Has anyone ever tried putting some Jalapeno or other chili pepper juice on a cancerous area? Might be worth a try:
