Posted - 12/02/2008 : 22:24:13 I'm trying bloodroot from altcancercream.com for the 1st time on small spot on my nose. I've read through the forums and tried eggplant with no result. Since bloodroot works fast and I've been putting this off I decided to get it done. No public appearances for a while :-) I'll post a follow up with results. I am only doing one spot at a time per suggestions here and instructions. A little tingling is all I'm experiencing so far. I'll let you know in the morning. |

Posted - 07/09/2009 : 01:40:48 I put it on twice, but it wasn't doing the job of penetrating. I used a loofah the third time and it is working like a charm. I am several days into it. I am still feeling a little burning and the area is growing in circumference.

Posted - 07/08/2009 : 18:10:55 A few addtional notes if removing moles with bloodroot. The first treatment did not work. I used a nail file to rough up the moles and 2nd time worked like a charm. Just needed the roughening to penetrate. I used a derivative from www.altcancercream.com
I've seen people scarred and cut up pretty badly by dermatologists and think this is a far better method. Treat it early while still small and you will have virtually no scarring.
If you wait and its closer to dime size it will be more painful and longer healing time. Still works, just more scarring healing time. |

Posted - 07/03/2009 : 03:24:06 I too just started using the Cansema deep tissue from altcancer.com. I tried so many other things over the months, but nothing was penetrating deep enough. I too was a little frightened about how painful, etc. bloodroot can be.
So far not much of any feeling at all. I put it on a second day now, so perhaps I will have to do the loofa or needle to get the cream to the sick cells.
Some of the things I tried have worked on the top layers of the cancer, so now I have to be more aggressive. Wish I would have opted to do the Cansema right from the start. Live and learn. That is why I am posting. Letting people know ... if I had it to do over again I would just dig in and get the job done with the stuff that will do the job.

Posted - 07/02/2009 : 22:29:23 I haven't posted in a while, but have used a bloodroot derivative successfully on several spots on my face and arm. I've also used it to remove two unsightly moles from my forehead. Now that things are healed up i'm very happy with the results. A few notes on using bloodroot derivatives: 1. They recommend leaving on 24 hours, but it seems only a few hours are really required. Apply and wait for mild stinging sensation, but do not cover with a bandaid. It somehow marks the spot and from that point your white blood cells know the cells are abonormal. 2. Try to apply only to the cancer area. The salve only marks the abnormal cells, but does irritate the surrounding skin. 3. It's fast and healing occurs in 2 to 3 weeks. 4. Treat one at a time.
Just some thoughts for those considering it. |

Posted - 12/30/2008 : 20:14:42 James, It's only a single 24 hour treatment. The spot on my nose is all healed up now, albeit a small dent that will fill in over time. |

Posted - 12/14/2008 : 08:17:45 Wow that's great. I have a small BCC on my nose that I'm about to hit with Cymilium, if it ever arrives. This gives me a second option since I pushed my Mohs out a couple months.
Are you still treating it? How long does it say you are supposed to keep using the bloodroot? |

Posted - 12/13/2008 : 20:02:37 Good news. I started treatment on 2 Dec and now 13th of Dec and only a very small scab left. Probably a couple more days and it will come off on it's own. I'm waiting for this to fully heal before treating another spot on my arm. Definitely easier, less pain, less expense, and faster healing than previous dermatologist slash and burn treatment. So maybe 14 days for complete treatment of small spots. Use caution and do one at a time if you try as others have had more pain. I had very little pain, mostly just an itching sensation. |

Posted - 12/13/2008 : 17:04:16 Just curious how this is going. Are you seeing more healing? What about pain? |

Posted - 12/06/2008 : 08:09:35 Day 3 after treatment. A little more redness around treated area which is probably normal. Starting to get a little itching in area which is probably good as the scab is hardening and on it's way to healing. What I find interesting is somehow the bloodroot kills the cancer cells or marks them so white blood cells know they are abnormal. It appears basal cell cancers fool the white blood cells into thinking they are normal. Bloodroot seems to remove that indicator and returns balance to the system. Could this be the cure for other types of cancers? Changing the indicators on the cancer cells so the bodies own immune system can go after them? So far so good as I'm pretty impressed with the natural treatment. I had been putting it off because of the horror stories some Quack watch doctors had posted. If it's a small spot I would not hesitate now to use a bloodroot rememdy. Certainly only do one at a time though. |

Posted - 12/03/2008 : 21:37:46 I always thought bloodroot caused a major reaction before the healing started. Sounds like your experience has been better so far. I also wonder why Dermatologists don't alert you to other methods of treating these but I think it boils down to business. They make money by treating skin cancer so they probably don't want people doing it themselves. It's sad but true. Best of luck on your bloodroot and please keep posting your results. |

Posted - 12/03/2008 : 19:09:13 1st evening after 24 hour application. Used a Que Tip with Hydrogen Peroxide to remove black salve and found a whitened area of dead skin cells where the basal cell cancer resided. A slight redening of the perimeter is the only other thing I notice. The white pattern is an exact match of the basal cell perimeter so this must really work. It only targets cancerous cells like the package suggested. Very little pain and on my way to healing up. If this is all it took I'm shocked as my previous visits to the Dermatologist were very painful for some Basal Cell spots on my chest. My biggest question is why Dermatologists are not using this treatment. It looks like a significantly smaller area to scar and I may not have any scar. I'll continue the posts as it heals up. I hope it helps someone else as I've poured over the forums myself looking for answers. My suggestion is keep some bloodroot salve on hand and treat early as soon as you notice them. I'm not sure if the salves are all the same, but mine came from altcancercream.com. |

Posted - 12/03/2008 : 13:13:17 Woke up this morning after applying blootroot cream last night. Black spot slightly larger than the perimeter of Basal Cell Cancer area. Very minor almost unnoticeable pain. I'll remove the salve tonight with Que Tip and Peroxide and see how well it worked. I'll update later. |
