Does anyone know anything about using this topically, or any reason why it should not be used to treat skin cancer? The oil, from Tahiti, is being touted as a miracle cure for everything related to the skin, but could find no cross references for it with skin cancer.

I had been dreading an upcoming visit to the dermatologist because I knew they would want to freeze and/or biopsy a couple places on my face that have recently begun to change shape. As someone who only uses alternative approaches, I got pro-active and found this website--thank you. The first thing that felt "right" was to go out to my garden--I live in California--and cut a piece of aloe and start to apply the pure juicy parts to the places on my face overnight. I also started taking the pancreatin enzymes, double strength. I eat a very healthy diet already, and am a gourmet cook who uses mostly food from my own garden or from the farmer's market. The only red meat my partner and I eat is from grass-fed beef, no more than once a month. I drink wine occaisionally. The rest is fish--I love salmon--tofu, beans and lentils, kosher chicken, and lots and lots of organic veggies. Dairy is limited to the occasional organic cream in my tea and about twice a week I have organic coffee--but I drink a lot of ginger tea and raw honey.

What I have noticed in just 3 days of the above treatment/enzymes is a shrinking of the small spot under my eye, and a change in the area on my forehead. But, I still want to know about the tamanu oil, if anyone has any experience with it or knowledge.

Thank you for being here--S.D.
