Posted - 05/31/2014 : 05:05:47 Hi, there are several topical treatments you can try for an eyelid tumour but because of it's nearness to the eyeball you have to be very careful. The strange thing is that different remedies work for different people but don't give up. Yes you can try a 7% iodine solution which has worked for some people. You can also try petty spurge sap if you are very very careful and start off using very small amounts of sap (less than a drop to start) and even dilute it with an equal amount of water to test it on your tumour. The skin on the upper eyelid is very thin and the eyeball is very close so you have to be super cautious and always err on the side of too little remedy to start until you discover your skin's tolerance level. I have successfully used both of these on tumours on my arm but they didn't work on my eyelid for some reason, but you may be different so give it a go. Any remedy that doesn't leave a hole in your skin can be tried so read through all the threads here on the different remedies and start by chosing one of them, and if that doesn't work then try another. Good luck. |

Posted - 04/26/2014 : 00:40:46 Sorry you live in Canada and are afraid of surgery, otherwise I would happily help you out. If you want to travel to Australia, I can have a look at it and tell you what the options are. First thing any doctor will want to know is what type of skin cancer, and what type of biopsy has been done. My advice would be - avoid using black slave and any of these corrosive treatments as you risk damage to the eye. You really should see an opthalmologist that specialises in lid surgery |
