Posted - 07/27/2007 : 03:09:51 which is slightly raised and about the size of one small rice kernel at most, maybe even smaller. It's been there for at least 10 years on my forearm and pinkish/tan-colored. It hasn't changed shaped, hasn't gotten bigger or changed in anyway. Actually, most of the times, it appears even more flattened out and smaller (dehydration?). But sometimes, it appears slightly more swollen. I keep an eye on it everyday so I guess I'm just paranoid even at the slightest change. I mean it could be that I drank a lot of water or something :)
The doctor told me to keep an eye on it because it does look harmless and I've been keeping an eye on it for at least 10 years (since the first time I noticed it anyway). Should I do something about this (treating it w/ Sunspot ES or what should I do)? Or, should I just leave it alone??? I'm thinking while it's harmless (it's been that way for 10 yrs.) if I don't treat it it may become something else when I get older? I'm approaching 30 and don't have a family history of skin cancer. Please share your experiences/opinions. Thank you in advance. |
