Did a little research...not finding a lot of good info...but it seems the Medical community is of the thought that this actually can PROMOTE tumor growth..
Whenever I see quackwatch putting something down at this point I get skeptical...of the quackwatch data...knowing what I know about bloodroot paste and how poorly they they tell the pros and cons of it
That said...it seems like it was used for centuries for removing warts and lesions...
The botanic name for it is Euphorbia tirucalli so it is one of the "Spurges" i.e. Petty Spurge Euphorbia Peplus.
Interestingly poinsetta's are part of the family..
I would want to speak to someone who has personally tried it with success or find some compelling legitimate data out there before I would try it with all the other alternative options we have to choose from.
