Hello, I have been going to a skin Dr for years, having areas frozen off my forehead and here and there elsewhere. Recently, my family doctor said I should treat my entire forehead with Efudex for 15 days and that liquid nitrogen will never rid me of it all. I believed he was right, as my trips to that skin DR have grown to 3-4 trips a year!
Anyway, I did 17 days and now I'm wondering if that was long enough? Reading on sites like this, I keep hearing of people using Efudex for 30 days and more and having the shin blister and peel?
I only had a few spots blister and peel, but mu whole forehead was covered in dark red spots. I quit 3 days ago and now fear that more time was needed?
Here are 2 pictures from the day I quit.
Please tell me what you think and, should I start it back up again?
I can't get back into the doctor again for another 2 weeks.
If I need longer, I hate to wait and end up on day one, IF restarting will make it a shorter overall process?
Thanks for any replies.
I can't get my 2 photos accepted here and I don't know how to make them smaller etc. So, I put them on a photo hosting site, so you could see them. It is here - http://www.keepandshare.com/photo/467190/2-skin-cancer-photos?fv=y&ifr=&vo=lt
