Hey everyone, I was reading the post about baking soda and figured why not. So I dumped a bit of baking soda into a glass and mixed enough water till it was the consistency of paste...maybe now quite as thick. Any way I first started applying this paste by rubbing into the lesion and then I would gob a bunch on and let it sit.

It stung the whole time I had it on until it dried up. Once I couldnt feel the buring I reapplied. I did this like every 2 hours for week. My wife asked me what I was using as she said it looked better. After another couple of days it wasnt raised any longer and there was a pit in my nose and it also was not leaking anymore.

Here it is something like two weeks later and it still is not leaking but I am not sure if it is slightly raised because of scar tissue or if it reoccuring. I also found what I think is another starting at the tip of my nose and am now totally freaked out!

I keep thinking its spreading all through my nose and face and its got me stressed right...can hardly eat or sleep and feel like I have butterflies in my stomach all the time.

I am so scared to go to the doctor and have him tell me that it has spread and they need to remove my nose. How many on this forum has had BCC on their nose and has it ever become more serious...also how long have you had skin cancer?...I guess Im just looking for reassurance as I am scared of dying.

Thanks
Joe

I have a sore on my ear that my dr has put liquid nitrogen on a few times now and the next step is a biopsy with a dermatologist. I am tempted to try the baking soda first but am only leary about making it worse. But what could be worse than full blown skin cancer I guess.

Hi Joe,
i understand the fear, I also know that my savior will help me [and you] through that.

i had several skin cancer spots on my nose.they spread and went to my cheeks, and now going into my tear ducts. i am allergic to most known meds, i have been to many doctors, with no luck, and not able for surgery..

when my nose became disfigured, i slowly fell apart, i am the strong one in our family, seems everyone turns to me for strength, as did the folks at work. i ran a shelter for woman and children.

i quit going out anywhere, quit my job, and had a pity party for a while. then i desided, i want to live not hide,
so resorted to internet natural ideas and found this site.

started using cymilium and things are getting better. my nose completely healed up in the center part, and is slowly healing on the outter parts, i went to a dr freind and he was amazed, wanted to know how i could possibly have had surgery with all of my allergies, i said i didnt, he couuldn't believe it, the front part is as smooth as a baby's butt, and some of the sides healing... hah on him.. he is now telling folks about cym...

anyway, now, i have a problem with it going into my tear ducts , but will work on that area i think with this pdq that dan mentoned.

i started on the cym last june, i have some pictures if you want to see them, they are from the first 3 months of use of cym.
i cant figure out how to download them on here, but i can email them to you. my email address is aabbynormal@yahoo.com

lots of folks on this site are having great responses to natural healings, and all are so kind and helpful. dan is just a jewel.

i can't advise, but can only encourage, dont give up, i would have tried rolling in dog poop if it worked. :-)

i also go with the big picture for me , i either will have it healed here or when i enter eternity with my savior so i view it as a win win situation.

by the way, i have had it for 8 years...no, 9. it NEVER got better until i tried cym.

my husband and adult children have been wonderful, even though i feel like i look like a hag, he says i am beautiful...my kids are all dry witted so when i am asked rudely, what happened to your nose, we come up with something witty, to others, i tell them the truth. before i left my job, one of the ladies at the shelter threatened to beat people up if they asked..

what i am saying is. there is beauty beyond what it is and what it looks like, we just have to look for it. nothing is going to take us out until its time.
hope this helps, aabby aka judy

Hello everyone, I just want to say I have seen the baking soda cancer therapy work also on several cancer tumors, but not by putting on the surface unless it is already ulcerated or internal like in the mouth. There is a group at yahoo that has a lot of information about it. you can find it at...

Sincerely,

So, I made a paste of baking soda, and had my husband prick the cyst through the baking soda, and then he put extra over it and put a bandage over it. after three days of this, it itched, and smelled bad. My husband pressed on it, and it drained. After a few days, it disappeared completely. It has been about 3 months now, and there is not a sign of its return.

Here is a very interesting forum about peoples useing baking soda for cancer. I even brush my teeth with it to protect my gums from plaque.

Yeah I guess I am a bit impatient with the results but thats the way I am...I like to results right off...not a good quality at times lol I am really amazed by this baking soda treatment...within days this thing is looking so much better. It is no longer raised..just a bit red and swollen I beleive from the baking soda as you can feel this burning the whole time it is on before it dries. But the area looks much much better.

Joe,
I just wanted to offer a little encouragement and an observation or two.

Yes, some of us have had or do have multiple spots we are healing, and at some times it can be discouraging when we don't think we are seeing results day to day. What I have found is that it takes time. Patience is a key.

You said you tried ammonia for a week or two. From my experiences with self-treatment a week or two is merely a beginning. It takes many many weeks some times to get stubborn spots to respond and begin to heal. I have one that I am currently working on, on my nose, that I am now at around 4 months of treatment. Like you described yours, it was about large pimple-sized when I started. It is now hard to distinguish from healthy skin around it, though I can still feel a bit of a bump when I run my finger across it....so I suspect another month or so of treatment yet to come for that one.

Also, like Dan points out in the info of this website, these spots will many times get worse before they get better. I have seen that a few times already. Just when I am getting down on making any new progress the spot would get redder and perhaps a little more swollen, and you think, "geez it's getting worse"....and then a day or so later it looks much better.

Anyway, I wish you good healing and good health.

Joe, that was an amazing link on Efudex. I did receive an email from someone who combined Efudex and DMSO at http://www.topicalinfo.org/Topical.htm#efudex a while back that supposedly sped up the healing time considerably.

About the protein, the idea is to reduce the amount of protein and/or go 12 hours or more without protein so the body systemically absorbs the pancreatic enzymes it produces. It's part of the theory from William Kelley and others. I personally found that topical enzymes can heal skin cancers so I guess I buy into this concept also.

Thanks also for the report about ammonia and Afterbite.

Hi Dan, A few years back I was on anti depreesants due to panic disorder and managed to keep it under control without meds for the past 2 years but I have been so nervous that I think that is what most of my problem is at this point. I mean yes I have skin cancer but it is only about the size of a large pimple and when I read about how many people have multiple lesions and have had them for years it makes me worry a bit less but I did take one of my old Ativans I had in cupboard and it seems to help quite a bit and I am more relaxed.

Hmmm eating less protein, that would be a hard one for me as I am into fitness and take a protein supplement 2 or 3 times a day but if you believe it helps I would be willing to lose some muscle to give this a try.

As far as household ammonia I havent tried that but I did try Afterbite on my lesion which I beleive is mostly ammonia. I tried for a week or two with no success and it burnt like a SOB when first applied.

I found a website here http://www.topicalchemo.com/ and it is a journal of an Efudex treatment. I am considering asking my doc for this treatment but I only want to put on and around the immediate area of the lesion as the guy at that site applied it all over his face and I just dont think I could do that...anyone here have experience with Efudex?

Joe, it's good to hear that you are feeling better. One nice thing about this forum is that people can be truly honest. Most people are terrified of cancer, even skin cancer. I think it helps to talk about the emotions involved as well as the mechanisms of the disease and its treatments. Cancer becomes less scary with every little bit of understanding.

I think there is a good chance that baking soda alone can work, especially as vigilant as you have been. Sodium bicarbonate has a pH of 8.5, borderline for killing cancer, but perfect for optimizing the capabilities of pancreatin enzymes. You might want to be cognizant of the benefits of a protein fast so that pancreatin enzymes can be put to work on cancer control instead of digestion. Other synergistic ideas include topical enzymes and household ammonia, which has a pH of about 11.5 and penetrates deeply into skin, keeping it very alkaline for hours.

thanks Dan for replying, I have managed calm down a bit and have manged to eat although I do have to force myself. I know the lack of appetite is from nervesnous and not due to illness. Its funny that you should mention God. I was born and raised a christian but after losing many people in my life that meant alot to me and the things that has happened in my own life I chose not to believe in religion any longer. However, the past few weeks I have come closer to God and have been praying every night and I havent done that in over 30 years.

I have a wife and daughter that I have to remain strong for, sometimes I feel like crying but the way I was raised is a man dont cry and its hard to pretend that everything is alright around those you love when you are feeling the weight of the world on your shoulders. I cant even believe I am talking like this on a forum...I would never open myself up like this to ANYONE...but as i said I dont want my family to think I am weak by showing this emotion.

Anyway, I thank you for your post it did make me feel a little better. On another note, the suspected cancer I was developing on the end of my nose is going away...again with baking soda...although I am not sure if this is really cancer as it was not diagnosed but it does look similar.

I had read where tumors that couldnt be treated with other means were totally dissolved using baking soda...although it was injected and I havent read anything on using it for skin cancer but what I read said that "sodium bicarbonate is like hitting cancer cells with a missle of alkalinity" they simply cant survive...I will find the info later and post it here...I guess I should have bookmarked it.

Thanks again
Joe

Joe Cancer is a acidic...Cancer can be killed by things very very alkaline or very very acidic...Baking soda might help neutralize the acidic cancer but I doubt it will finish the job...I am not a expert but this is my opinion...

Thanks for the post and the very good feedback about using baking soda as a treatment or skin cancer. Based on your description, I think you have given it a great trial, and the results so far seem encouraging. I hope you understand that you are the pioneer, at least in this forum, with this treatment idea. Of course that does not bring any obligation to continue it for our benefit.

Joe, it is impossible for anyone on the internet to assess your condition accurately and honestly reassure you. I have felt the dread of thinking I was dying from cancer and I know it is no fun. I would like to say I used that opportunity to get closer to God, but of course it was the other way around, with God in control. Realizing you are going to die someday can turn out to be a good thing. We are all going to face God someday, some of us protected by the Savior Jesus, some without. Maybe this could be a good opportunity for you.

I recommend that you make an appointment with a dermatologist. The wait time for appointments can run several weeks. You can always cancel it later if your self treatment is working to your satisfaction and you become less worried. Aldara is a good topical skin cancer treatment now available through dermatologists. When making the appointment, ask if Aldara is one of the options that could be available to you. I also recommend that you take pictures for your own benefit to see objectively if your condition is improving over time.

Usually skin cancer turns out to be more of a nuisance than life threatening, but certainly not always. It can become a chronic problem for many and having several problem areas is not unusual.

If skin cancer can be controlled by something as simple as applying baking soda, that would be wonderful news. Keep us posted, and if you need ideas or want encouragement, we certainly welcome you here.
