How about Dr Christopher Black Drawing Ointment? This ointment does not contain bloodroot and, according to the therapist I met, acts in a very mellow manner. He said that he had 3 patients with skin cancer and all three of them were able to completely get rid of the problem. One of the patients was a young 11 year old boy with a recurrent skin cancer on his neck. He had surgery twice and it came back. Aftre the oinment treatment, it seems that the cancer has not come back for years and the person is now healthy. He added that he also adressed nutrional isssues, food supplements and that this last case (the boy) was somewhat complicated and long - but at the end it worked perfectly. He says this oinment stinks and is messy because of the tar but really does the work.
Of course, I have not seen these patients, I do not know if their cancer came back or not. I am mentioning this approach because of the excellent "review" I has from this therapist.
Anyone here knows about this oinment? |

Mexico - can you post a follow up on your experience with Dr. Christophers Black Ointment? I know its been a few years since the last post - hope you are still on this forum and this worked for you.

Just reporting here... I have been using this salve on a BCC for 4 weeks now. It keeps it nice and clean and smaller but it isn't really healed yet. I was told that it takes 6 to 8 weeks to do the job. But it does not look like it is healing, it is simply getting less and less noticeable. No scabbing, no pain, no oozing or bleeding. The good side of this treatment is that it is not painful in any way (but the salve skinks a little!), it is very mellow and not dangerous at all. But I can't say if it works yet. I'll leave another post at the end of August.

Thanks for the new to me skin cancer remedy! The Black Drawing Ointment Skin Formula contains chaparral, comfrey, red clover blossoms, pine tar, mullein, beeswax, plantain, olive oil, mutton tallow, chickweed, and poke root. It is a topical (external use only) remedy for ulcers, tumors, boils, warts, skin cancers, hemorrhoids, burns and as a healing agent. As Tom mentioned, comfrey stands out as the probable principle active ingredient. Comfrey is a controversial herb in terms of safety. Thanks for the info on the drawing salve. I used to use a lot of Christophers formulas when I was quite ill a few years back.. I actually met his son at a Whole Life Expo in LA back in the 90s.. very nice gentleman, talked a lot about his father. He has kind of taken the job of keeping his father's legacy alive, at least in the marking end of the herbal business..
I just ordered a jar of the drawing salve, a bargain at 16 dollars.. I am developing an arsenal to go to battle with this little pesty disease..

Had not heard of Dr. Christopher but might have heard of the drawing salve somewhere out on the net over the last 10 years. I found a few undocumented testimonials and a neat story written by Dr. Christophers son http://www.zhealthinfo.com/doctor.htm
We are all guinea pigs here so if you feel compelled and have a skin cancer you want to try it on go for it and document it.
It does not have zinc Chloride or bloodroot but does have a lot of things that Hoxey used. Comfey is the active ingredient that stands out to me..
