Hello to All!
My names Tina and I just found this site. I am currently on my 3rd day of tx with Efudex. I've searched the web high & low for pics of hands, legs & arms but have found none (however thanks to all who have posted pics of their faces!) If there's anyone out there with pics of limbs during tx, please email me! I am very curious to see what may happen.
I'm currently nervous as hell & itching from head to toe from my last application. (Face/neck/arms/hands/legs & top of feet) After seeing these pics of peoples faces & reading the pain that eventually set in, I cant help but worry even more considering I am doing the "head-to-toe" treatment all at once. SCARY STUFF!!!
Anyway, I'm going to make this first post short & come back to check frequently to see if anyone has replied before going into great detail. My heart & thoughts are with you all on your journey!!! And I look forward to all responses.
Thanks so much! ~Tina~
p.s. My first evening of using Efudex was a little itchy but managable... Last night though was NOT good at all. I'm a bit irratated due to serious itching ALL night (which turned into mild discomfort)... I can't help but wonder if I'm reacting to this medicine a little earlier than most due to my having Lupus?!? Any advice is MUCH appreciated! |

Posted - 08/30/2011 : 21:32:38 Hi Tina... Wow! You're in for a wild ride I'm afraid Love... (treating so many large areas at once).... my experience is more with bloodroot paste moreso than efudex but I believe the pain will be similar if not the exact results. At any rate, found some efudex treatment protocols with photos for you;
