Posted - 08/17/2011 : 13:53:43 Hello all..I wanted to start a new discussion to get some feedback from everybody. Once thing I am beginning to notice in the reading I have done to educate myself after being diagnosed with my first BCC is that it seems to me that skin cancers are very commonly misdiagnosed. It seems like a lot of folks are at the mercy of the doctors "expertise". I am noticing that a lot of the people on here have some some experience being told they have one thing and end up having surgery, biopsies and reoccurances only to find out that its another. It really makes you question the facts about skin cancer and what you can truly believe. I have learned more from this site then the doctors ive seen. Seems as if dermatologists may not have all the answers. Can anybody share a similar experience with me and what you decided to do as a course of treatment? |
